In the House actress Maia Campbell has certainly had her ups and downs in the past few years and unfortunately, they’ve played out for the public to witness. Trouble seems to follow the child star, as she was arrested in Riverdale, Georgia over the weekend for disorderly conduct.
Police were called to a Waffle House after Campbell allegedly began behaving erratically and causing a scene. Realizing the actress—who starred on OWN’s Iyanla: Fix My Life in 2012 after a roller coaster ride with drugs—was intoxicated, responding officers offered her the opportunity to leave the restaurant on her own, but she refused. As a result, she was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Campbell is no stranger to legal battles, as this is her second run-in with police since the New Year. Last month in Atlanta, the embattled actress began cursing at a family after she accused their child of taking her wallet at a local Burger King. She allegedly called the arresting officer a “f*ck*ng f*gg*t!”
