If you’re an undergraduate fashion design student at a HBCU, Harlem Fashion Row and McDonald’s are looking for you.
The fast food giant and the designer collection are collaborating for the 2015 Lovin’ Student Fashion Design Competition, offering students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their original designs at New York Fashion Week. To qualify, students must submit two hooded sweatshirt designs and two T-shirt sketches inspired by the bold colors of McDonald’s new lovin’ campaign.
The grand prize winner will get the chance to display their work at New York Fashion Week as part of HFR’s Shop, Brunch and Be Social event. The winner will also receive a one-on-one mentoring session and lunch with Bravo’s Fashion Queens host Bevy Smith, and snag a coveted ticket to HFR’s runway show. The crowned designs will also be photographed by a fashion photographer.
The deadline to enter is Friday, April 24. What are you waiting for? Get designing or share with a friend who would be interested!
