Miguel‘s sophomore effort Kaleidiscope Dream is no doubt taking him to another level of superstardom, but the singer still manages to get closer to his fans. Case in point: Last night, the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter made an appearance at Sony’s Flagship Store in NYC.
Looking dapper in black leather pants and blue button up shirt paired with a firetruck red blazer, Miguel performed a short set of his hits, both old and new. Songs performed during the 20-minute show included cuts from Kaleidiscope Dream including the megahit “Adorn” as well as “Girl With The Tattoo” and “Sure Thing” from his debut album. Although the setting wasn’t intimate, he made it feel quite the contrary, often stopping to crack jokes and ask questions to fans who showed their appreciation in return, cheering and singing along. The highlight of the evening was Miguel and his band handing off a pair of autographed X Headphones to a die-hard fan in front of the crowd.
The X headphones are in collaboration with Syco Entertainment, a joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment. The headphones offer the truest sound reproduction along with the utmost in style and quality. They are currently available at authourized retailers and Sony Stores online for $299.–Nicole Brown
