SSupermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss took on a barely-there look for a spread in Interview Magazine. This isn’t Moss’ first time posing nude in a glossy, but the shoot symbolized a reunion of the pair since their 2008 Vogue Paris feature.
The basic black and white cover captures Campbell straight on and Moss in the background. With their crisp skin tones melting into each other, the models speak about race in the fashion industry.
“When I first got to New York, I was like, ‘What are they talking about?’ I couldn’t tell, you know,” said Moss to Interview. “It was really weird and I also think growing up in South London, it’s so mixed race.” Along the lines of equality in the fashion realm, Campbell said “it felt like it was an uphill struggle for something. I felt like I had to do what I had to do for my race and to keep awareness out there.” – Camille Augustin
