If you thought the #Girlboss hashtag was just a trend, think again. Author and Nasty Gal CEO Sophia Amoruso is expanding her brilliant empire significantly in 2016 and we’re here for it.
According to Variety, popular on-demand internet streaming service Netflix has joined forces with Kay Cannon and Charlize Theron to flip Amoruso’s awe-inspiring autobiography #Girlboss into a comedy series.
Originally published in May 2014, Amoruso’s New York Times bestseller narrates the 31-year-old’s rag-to-riches story that details her come up from selling vintage clothes on eBay to building Nasty Gal to becoming the owner of a multi-million dollar fashion empire all by the age of 27. Dope stuff, right?
Amoruso is definitely an inspiration for us female entrepreneurs, and who doesn’t love to see girl power portrayed on TV and film? Congratulations are definitely in order for Sophia! (Also, if you haven’t picked up #Girlboss yet, we reccomend you do so).
