Nicole Scherzinger debuts her video for “Run” off of her upcoming sophomore album, Big Fat Lie, which serves as some one-word relationship advice for everyone.
The former first lady of the Pussycat Dolls, dons a navy silk slip and soft, dewy makeup as she showcases her powerful vocals for almost four minutes on a mansion floor and running throughout the video. Produced by Felix Snow, Nicole shares her emotion when recording the new single, saying she was “brought to tears,” and expresses the same sentiment towards the end of the video. She says the track is, “basically encouraging people to run from whatever fears are holding them back and… running to something bigger and more positive.”
The third single from Scherzinger’s 2015 album release, is probably our favorite from the singer with lyrics we can relate to.
“Don’t even search for that four-letter word / You’ll never get it out / You try, and try, and try / But he’ll just shut you down / Don’t wanna say I told you so / So please go now / Here’s some advice for the next one / Run, run, run.”
