This March, broadcast journalist Soledad O’Brien and The XX Project launched the Salon Sessions in an effort to inspire leadership and stewardship among future leading women. Once a month, a corresponding dinner series honors a specific woman and discusses her career and personal experiences. This month, Eve will be honored at New York City’s No. 8.
With Soledad as the facilitator, the rapper/actress will candidly speak on growing her brand through fashion, music, television and film while facing personal milestones. “I’m thrilled to be part of the launch of xx and to moderate a conversation with Eve, a brilliant and creative woman whose story will resonate with all women. There is nothing more powerful than women helping other women succeed,” says O’Brien.
This discussion is just the second in an 11-part installment series. Other women making appearances throughout the year include Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival; Pat Mitchell, President and Chief Executive Officer for the Paley Center and Melanie Fiona.
