Women are notoriously indecisive. We’re in constant look of the next best hairstyle. If you tried your hand at a new hairdo that didn’t turn out quite like you imagined, don’t panic! There is hope to salvage your new look. Shake off the regret and make the best of your new tresses.
After the initial panic you must take the reigns of your wild emotions and accept the reality. Acceptance is the last of the 9 steps in grieving. Once you come to grips with the truth you can move forward with the next steps.

Go out and get some inspiration about how to rock your new ‘do. Find celebrities with similar haircuts and borrow their style. Make a list of the products you’ll need and the styling tools. If celeb inspiration isn’t enough then go to a salon and consult with a stylist. Get creative with your look and you may find yourself falling in love with your new style.
If you simply cannot work with your new hair (or lack thereof) don’t be shy about investing in extensions. Wigs, weaves and clip ins could be the answer to your problem. Take the time to rock new looks and get your confidence back. Look at it this way, you can ‘date’ new hair styles without fully committing to them. Lesson learned?
If your stylist got too scissor happy and your yearning for longer locks, take care of your hair from the inside out. Invest in vitamins and drink plenty of water to encourage healthy hair. Miracle pills don’t exist, but popping vitamins like Biotin could make a huge difference. Don’t be afraid to hit the gym either, by focusing on your health you will get a much needed confidence boost and stress relief.
Besides the obvious go-to accessories like hats, scarves and earrings, tinker with your look through makeup and fashion. Try out daring makeup and outfits you wouldn’t usually opt for. You can still look like a bombshell without relying on your mane to be the star of the show.
Don’t sit on your butt at home waiting for your hair to grow. If you spend time outside of your house you are likely to forget about a silly hair cut. Let loose at a party with your best girlfriends, or go to a movie. Life is way too short to stew in regret!
