According to lead stylist Martin Christopher-Harper, wash and wear was the hot trend for the hair. He described the inspiration as combining the West Coast attitude with a hint of Bohemian Bourgeois. Even though the look has an effortless finish, there are a few products and tools you will need to recreate this style next spring. To achieve a deconstructed look the Redken Rough Paste 12 was used to hold the waves in place. Add movement to your hair by using a 2 inch barrel curling iron. The controlled waves can be replicated on a variety of hair lengths with Redken Rewind 06 to mold the texture.
The make-up complimented the hair and captured the freshness of a natural bombshell. For a monochromatic face beat to the God’s, start with the Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer. Next, give your skin an extra glow by using Stila’s HD BB Cream in Bronze and Illuminating. For the eyes you’ll want to make sure to waterproof your look with Stila’s Stay all Day Waterproof Mascara and Brow Color. Keep shadows very light and neutral. Cheeks are kissed with Stila’s Convertible Color Lip and Cheek Cream. Finally, bring life to your pucker with Stila’s Color Balm Lipstick in a rosy nude shade.
Don’t forget your nails! Fingertips were coated in white Julep nail polish while toes were a bit more playful featuring a nude tone with a fiery horizontal stripe.
