Tamar Braxton is a real character, and we love her for that.
On Braxton Family Values, she’s the bubbly, baby sister, on The Real, she’s the animated girlfriend, but there’s a lot more to the singer, mother, and television host. Recently, Tamar left her seat between co-hosts Tamera Mowry and Adrienne Bailon to sit in the hot seat on The Wendy Williams Show. There, Braxton spilled all the tea on just everything going on in her life, even past relationships .
When asked about motherhood, the mother of one offered, “Well, at first I would be like ‘Girl, no!’ But I feel like–you know because I grew up with a big family– I feel like he needs a playmate or something. But when I ask him [Wendy], he’s like ‘No, no no, no, no, no!’ So that’s what it is. I feel like he knows what he’s talking about. He really likes it when it’s just the three of us. But I’m okay with it. I really don’t feel like being pregnant, at all!”
Tamartians also know the baby of the Braxton sisters for busting a good move during her live shows, but she admitted to Wendy that she wanted to join Dancing With The Stars because she can’t dance.”The only thing I could do was twerk,” she shared. “I was like ‘Oh girl, you can’t put your hands on your knees every time you hear a record.’ It’s not age appropriate all the time.”
And when it came her new album she recently released, the Calling All Lovers chanteuses told Williams that the music helped her heal from past relationships and that her husband, Vincent, was okay with it. “He know I got a past. He has one too,” she offered. “I am in love and I’m really happy but there is a story behind Tamar. I didn’t just wake up one day and just meet the love of my life. I kissed old gruesome frogs and all the monsters and stuff. So it was important for me to talk about. And really honestly Wendy, I didn’t know that there was a lot I needed to let go.”
