Every vixen loves a little lipstick, but MAC cosmetics is always taking it to the next level. Collaborating with girly faves Hello Kitty, Wonder Woman, and many others, MAC gives a pop of color and then some. This past Thursday (Feb. 7), MAC dropped Archie’s Girls, a two-sided collection featuring a cutesy line and one that is a bit sexier.
As a salute to the many sides of every woman, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite lines from this makeup great. — Sandra Garcia
MAC loves to collaborate with artists, and when they mashed up with Beth Ditto in 2012, it was nothing short of a masterpiece. Ditto’s iconic cat eye was the eye of the storm in this collection, especially paired with bright pink lips!
Cupcakes are second best, right after diamonds. MAC banked on that and served up the Sugar Sweet collection in 2009. With a collection filled with icing-inspired lip glosses and tart-like blushes, it soothed our sweet tooth and made us pout.
They know how to make us rave. When party boys-turned-designers Heatherette hooked up with MAC, it was everything we needed. Bright pink cases, glitter, silvers…we never wanted this makeup party to end.
MAC was fully aware that we are all wonder women; superheroes in our own right. They called up DC Comics to get everything stamped with the iconic bright blue, red and high yellow theme. With shades to compliment every woman, we all looked wonderful.
When French artist Fafi sprayed all her cute designs on some blushes, eyeshadows and lipglosses, we all became Fafinettes. High reds, bright pinks and power blushes ruled this collection, and our hearts.
What girl didn’t grow up adoring Hello Kitty? MAC draped the cute kitty in black and gave us brushes, toys, lip glosses, eyeshadow sets, compacts and makeup bags. Many dinners were skipped to get the whole set. Trust.
