Step away from your television more, and enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s going for a nature walk, hiking, or a jog at a local park.
Remember as kids, our parents would demand for us to go outside and play—we need that same discipline to attain our childlike joy that has become so aloof from our every day reality.
14. Say What You Need To Say
Have you ever swallowed yourself whole because there are words you are holding back from saying or feelings that you have yet to express? Because of fear we may not be expressing ourselves to experience that euphoric feeling of closure, or to simply feel better.
As John Mayer sang, “even if your hands are shaking, say what you need to say.” It’s better to say too much, then never to say what you need to say again. Be brave and stop fearing the non-existent repercussions of what could happen.
