An adorable British toddler is making waves on social media for his glorious mane.
Farouk James has built a large following on Instagram for his curly hair and precious pout.
With over 60,000 followers on Instagram, the four-year-old’s life and hair is giving us goals to place on our vision boards. In an interview with BuzzFeed Life, his mother Bonnie says she tries to make sure her son remains humble despite his sought after curls.
“I was a bit concerned, as I want him to be confident but I don’t want him to have a huge ego,” she said. “I want him to remain the kind, loving, sharing, friendly little guy that he is. If I saw any sign of anything else, I would stop the whole Instagram page.”
Bonnie says her son’s favorite hobbies include playing with Legos and dancing. The young model also enjoys reading and singing.
Speaking with the Huffington Post in February, Bonnie says she keeps Farouk’s hair in line by moisturizing regularly.
“My top tip for parents who have children with curly hair which is prone to dryness and knotting is to sleep on a silk or satin pillow case [to] prevent the hair from losing moisture, drying out and getting split ends,” Bonnie said. “My second top tip is to spritz a little Moroccan argan oil on the hair 30 minutes before washing. This will smooth out the strands by releasing the knots and avoid water absorption.”
We’re glad to see it’s working for Farouk.
