Tyra Banks was one of the many celebrities sharing things on Instagram this Valentine’s Day weekend. But instead of sharing a couple’s picture, the former top model and television mogul shared a glimpse of her newborn son, York Banks Asla.
The photo shows baby York swaddled in his mom’s arms as she stares off into the distance. “This is the Happiest Valentine’s Day of my life,” Banks captioned the image. “York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love.”
Banks announced the arrival of her newborn with Norwegian photographer, Erik Asla on Instagram last month. When many were surprised at the news, she also revealed that she used a surrogate due to fertility issues of her own.
She previously talked to PEOPLE about her experience after using a surrogate, saying, “As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day. My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms,” she stated.
The image only shows a profile view of her baby boy, but as York continues to grow, it’s only assumed the new mom will share more loving moments.
