To say that Atelier Versace served a grand runway show for Spring 2016 during Paris Fashion Week is quite modest.
The iconic Donatella Versace-fronted fashion house, known for super-sexy garments, stayed true to their daring aesthetic but upped the chic factor for their couture collection. While revealing frocks and gowns and a few pieces of sportswear took charge of the runway, the makeup was a true standout.
International makeup artist Pat McGrath sent models like Joan Smalls, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner down the runway swathed smoldering smoky eyes. Unlike how many rock the sometimes overpowering makeup look, the MUA opted for a lighter hand, dusting hints of shimmer onto the lid for a reflective finish that evokes the freshness of the upcoming season.
McGrath gladly shared the deets on just how she executed the sultry look writing, “This #Phantom002 blended smokey eye combined #black002 eye gloss and the Black Caviar gel liner,” all of which are a part of her makeup collection, Pat McGrath Labs.
