Each season, designers and retail brand looks to Pantone for the major colors of a particular season. This season is no different. What is different is the beautiful colors from either side of the intensity spectrum. Vixens who prefer pastels will be smitten with “Cockatoo Pantone,” (a pale sea-foamy green) and “Bellflower Pantone” (a deep violet). Saucier Vixens will jump for the attention-grabbing spring colors: “Solar Power Pantone” (a bright yellow), “Tangerine Tango Pantone” (a vivid orange) and “Sodalite Blue Pantone” (a cobalt blue).
Keeping the Pantone color report in mind, we found hot spring fashions that will keep you on-trend, saucy and a little naughty!
There’s a reason chinos went from the African safari to our everyday lives: they’re so damn comfortable yet polished. This slim-cut pair is perfect for casual days, whether during the work week or weekend. And the berry blue hue? It will keep the look fun!
On first glance, this pencil dress may seem very demure and safe, but with its ’40s-styling, it can be an understated yet sexy showstopper. Skip the sensible wedges for sky-high platform pumps, grab a tough clutch, wear your hair in a messy high bun to highlight the V-back and you’re done!
The peplum is one of the sexiest silhouettes of the season because it highlights the smallest part of a vixen’s waist, but also camouflages any belly bulge. Pair this orange color with neutrals like white, black, tan or gray.
For those vixens who are afraid of allover color, this color-block dress will put a little Pantone in their lives without overdoing it. And those cutouts not only provide built-in air conditioning, but also give a ton of sex appeal.
The color yellow has been popping up in the past two or three spring/summer seasons. And we don’t want it to go anywhere! White polka-dots marry well with Solar Power yellow. Wear these with a blue chambray button-down for day and a slinky gray tank for a night out.
Shoes are another great option when all-over color gives you the heeby-jeebies. These mid-heel, ankle-strap sandals will become a go-to shoe this summer despite the color because they work with shorts, dresses, skirts and crop pants.
The blouse has definitely made a comeback in recent seasons, and this simple one is just screaming for accessories and some color-blocking. Pile on the baubles and choose a bottom in a complementary color, like coral or hot pink.
Add a little edge to a sexy librarian look with this wedge-sleeve top. A simple white pencil skirt will highlight the colors in the blouse, and top off the look with natural-colored leather shoes and handbag.
Although it’s not exactly friendly to wallets, this handbag is worth the splurge. The classic shape alone will keep it appropriate for many seasons to come. But we just can’t get over how gosh, darn cute this purse is!
