Turns out being a dark skinned actor in Hollywood is just as hard as its female counterpart.During an exclusive interview with Hello Beautiful, Morris Chestnut recalls breaking into the acting business in the 90’s. He may have the tall, dark and handsome look down, but it hasn’t always worked in his favor.
“You’re talking to the right person because when I was coming up, it was all about Prince, Michael Jackson, Jesse Jackson. So it was really difficult for me coming up. Matter of fact, my first production company was called ‘Dark Skin Productions,” because it was difficult breaking in,” said the Best Man Holiday star.
“And then, Wesley Snipes broke through and he opened it up for us dark-skinned brothers. Some of my boys, Shemar Moore, they’re light-skinned and they get theirs too. There’s enough for everybody.”

When Kanye is telling the paparazzi to cease all talking, he’s simply not talking to them. The “non-celebrity” is infamous for looking rather depressed in paparazzi shots and he’s finally addressing it. During a listening session at the Art Basel Fair in Switzerland, the rapper talked about the displeasures of being a “celebrity boyfriend.”
“I fight in my position of being a very commercial celebrity boyfriend, I fight to push culture forward every chance I get. And I only frown because paparazzi ask me dumba– s–t all the time, and I think about changing the world, and I think about what I can do to make things better.”

Sofia Vergara may be one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, but she never leaves the house without a face full of makeup. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the Modern Family star says that once you age, there’s no such thing as going au naturale.
“I’m Latin; I do it no matter what. It’s automatic. I shower, do hair and makeup. For me, it’s like shaving. I don’t believe in a natural look. Lipstick brightens your face! Unless you’re Giselle Bundchen or 19, you need something.”
