Wendy Williams is known for her extreme bluntness, but ever since she came to daytime television, she’s been doing a good job of keeping her comments to a minimum. Until recently.
The talk show host complimented then dethroned none other than Beyoncé. Williams insinuated that the R&B icon was not the brightest of the bunch. “I am a Beyoncé fan.,” she told her Wendy Williams Show audience. “I’m gonna watch her upcoming documentary because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning so I’ll be able to understand what she says. You know Beyonce can’t talk. She sounds like she has a fifth grade education.”
As a result, the studio audience booed Wendy, and of course, she got defensive.
“Excuse me, I just said I was a fan. But we have to call a spade a spade.”
Everyone can’t always be grammatically correct, even the people at the top make mistakes. Vixens, do you think Wendy Williams was wrong for saying King B has a 5th grade education?
