Whitney Houston’s First Live Album to Be Released

Though Whitney Houston is gone, the man who discovered her is making sure she lives on through her music.

Record executive Clive Davis revealed yesterday (Sept. 16) on the Today show that the late singer’s first ever live album ever will be released. Entitled Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances, it will be released on November 10th and is set to include performances from The Tonight Show back in 1985, The Concert for a New South Africa in 1994 where she sang “I Will Always Love You” and much more.

“She without question was the greatest vocalist in the world,” Davis told Hoda Kotb. “I want history to know that. This CD/DVD will establish that there was no one like her. It’s a phenomenal album.”

The album will be available as a 16-song CD and a 19-song DVD.
