Eminem is up to his old tricks again. On “Evil Twin,” the last song on his latest album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Em raps about not having any easy targets to throw shots at anymore. “I’m frustrated ’cause ain’t no more N’Sync, now I’m all out of wack,” he rapped, “I’m all out of Backstreet Boys to call out and attack.” But it sounds like Em has finally found someone to take aim at.
During the 2013 MTV EMAs on Sunday night, Eminem was interviewed by Will Ferrell—ahem—”Ron Burgundy” on stage and the Anchorman star asked, “Afrojack has been talking shit about you, anything you want to say?” Em’s response: “Who?” And just like that, Slim Shady had EDM fans—and music fans in general—in an uproar over the slight. Some people speculated that it was little more than a publicity stunt. But whether it was or wasn’t, Em finally found an easy target to “call out and attack” in his own subtle way.
Afrojack is a pretty random target, though, right? Still, it’s not the most random person that Em has ever taken a shot at. And to prove it, we put together a list of the 10 most random artists that Eminem has ever dissed. We’re still scratching our heads over some of these.
