On Thursday afternoon, his highly-publicized, on-camera interview with Katie Couric aired for the first time on Couric’s daytime TV talk show Katie—just one week after Deadspin published a report indicating that Te’o’s “girlfriend” Lennay Kekua was a hoax perpetrated by a man named Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.
