Deadmau5 recently released the news that his new double album, while(1<2), will be dropping next month. The mau5, born Joel Zimmerman, has worked with artists from across the genre spectrum – on his 2012 LP, >album title goes here<, he featured tracks with My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way and Cypress Hill.
We’d like to see him in the studio with more acts, because through teamwork comes the stuff sweet tunes are made of. In case Zimmerman needs some guidance, here are five artists we think he should collaborate with. Don’t worry, Joel! We didn’t include Kanye West, although you be your mau5 ass we wanted to.
