50 Cent was at his absolute best back in the early 2000s when no one believed in him. Shortly after getting dropping by Columbia, he went on a tear and released a handful of tracks and mixtapes that eventually caught the attention of Eminem and Dr. Dre. He’ll never fully recapture the feeling of that moment, but he’s once again being doubted by a record label which will, at the very least, make it feel like 50 Cent is an underdog again.
