In Getaway, veteran screen actor Ethan Hawke is in a race against time to rescue his wife from the evil clutches of a mysterious villain. Aiming to embrace her skills as a proven actress, Selena Gomez plays the only person who can help Ethan in this picture. The duo’s pact serves as the film’s premise, which finds them in a beautiful Shelby Super Snake, and pulling off some crazy moves.
As Brett Magna and “The Kid,” respectively, they have only a short amount of time to complete dangerous tasks set before him by “The Voice” (played by legend Jon Voight). As the game of cat-and-mouse unfolds over a cell phone call, the two are unwittingly pitted against the odds in hopes of saving Brett’s wife, Leanna (Rebecca Budig). VIBE had the chance to experience the adrenaline-inducing picture.
