Reason 1: Both “You The Boss” and “I Love My Bitches” were on their way to becoming strong lead singles for God Forgives, I Don’t.
Think about this: “You The Boss” and “I Love My Bitches” reached No. 72 and No. 85, respectively, on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. And both songs were released less than two weeks before Ross suffered his seizures. That means that even with very limited promotion, both songs did really well on the charts and could have been even bigger if Ross had been available to shoot proper music videos for them, perform them at shows, and get them out into the public discussion a little more. So we fully expect him to hit us with more bangers when he reemerges on the scene. There’s clearly a big market out there for Ross and he’ll have the opportunity to capitalize off it soon.
