
One of the worst things that happened to Big Sean in the weeks leading up to his sophomore album, Hall of Fame, was the track, “Control,” which he released to the world for free after it didn’t make the final cut for his album. The Kendrick Lamar verse got so much attention in the days following that Big Sean’s Hall of Fame turned into an afterthought. Even though lead single “Beware” got a lot of buzz this summer, “Control” really sucked the life out of the excitement surrounding the album.
But we’re here to tell you: DO NOT SLEEP ON HALL OF FAME! “Control” was great and everything. But all you need to do is listen to the first two or three tracks from Hall of Fame to realize that it’s pretty great, too. Check out 6 reasons you shouldn’t snooze on it.
