Rap fans are making a really big deal out of all the rappers that Kendrick Lamar called out on his verse on Big Sean’s new song, “Control (HOF).” And rightfully so. K. Dot name-dropped J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electronica, Tyler, The Creator and Mac Miller on “Control” and essentially told them all that, despite their friendships, he’s coming for their heads when it comes to hip-hop.
So the thought is that a lot of the rappers that Kendrick named will retort on wax. But do you know who should really be upset right now? The rappers who didn’t get called out on “Control.” By not name-dropping them, Kendrick didn’t even put those guys in the same category as himself and the others that he pointed out.
As everyone continues to go crazy about Kendrick’s verse, here we point out a few rappers who should be upset that they weren’t named. We expect response records from these artists to start dropping in 4, 3, 2…
