
Although his sophomore album, Born Sinner, was one of the best rap albums of 2013, J. Cole didn’t receive a Best Rap Album Grammy Award nomination for it. And while he did earn a Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Grammy Award nomination for his hit single, “Power Trip,” featuring Miguel, he didn’t end up winning an award for that, either. So for the most part, Cole was an afterthought at the Grammy Awards this year.
