As soon as the clock struck 12 am, Jimmy Fallon had late night TV watchers’ full attention. It was his first night on the job as the new host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Along with his usual humorous banter, he spiced up the show by bringing on numerous top-tier celebrity guests (aside from Will Smith and U2, who were previously announced).
He was visited by the likes of Mariah Carey, Tracy Moran, Rudy Giuliani, Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Robert De Niro, Kim Kardashian and others. In addition to U2 braving the cold for a rooftop performance, a standout moment for the night was Fallon’s “Evolution of Hip Hop Dance” with Will Smith.
