On a bright Sunday afternoon at We The Best Studios, an intimate crowd of his famous friends, colleagues, and a select few members of the press gathered for the one and only DJ Khaled. Once he arrived with the mother of his child and Baby Khaled in the stroller, the first ones to show him love were his We The Best artists Kent Jones and Steph Lecor. Soon after, his other famous friends like N.O.R.E., Fabolous, Mack Wilds, Fonzworth Bentley, rapper Prospectt, Empire’s Bre-Z, and more huddled inside the studio at Champs Sports’ pop-up shop to wish the Snapchat King a happy birthday with a huge cake in the shape of a black, Nike Lunar Charge shoe.
We The Best Studios was decked out with artwork inspired by Khaled and the Nike Lunar Charge by revered artist Distorted — with food by Finga-Lickin’ — of course, and mystery drinks spiked with Ciroc. Although there were no copies of “The Keys” on site, Khaled’s gifting event was just the start of his epic birthday turn-up during Art Basel in Miami. Even though his birthday falls during Thanksgiving (Nov. 26th), the Major Key artist held his official born day festivities in order to celebrate with his close clique of top-tier artists during one of the busiest weekends in Dade County.
After sipping on champagne and munching on birthday cake, Khaled prepared for an epic night to close out Art Basel weekend and to continue his birthday celebration. As the night grew darker, he took to Instagram to drop major keys about his 10th studio album as he played new music for Fabolous.
The founder of We The Best Music also revealed his plans to hit the high seas to host his Summer Fest Cruise in the Bahamas, which will set sail at the end of June 2017 just in time for Independence Day. “I will be hosting the Summer Fest Cruise 2017 to the Bahamas with all my celebrity friends,” Khaled said on Instagram. Once he handled business, Khaled put on his birthday hat and made his way to Miami Beach for a momentous soiree at LIV in the Fountainbleau.

The VIP was flooded with celebrities from veterans like Diddy, Fat Joe, and Flo Rida to frequent collaborators like Future, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, and of course Lil Wayne and Mack Maine. A$AP Rocky, Jadakiss, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Fabolous, Bre-Z, the entire We The Best squad, and Floyd Mayweather were all in the building to show love to Khaled in honor of his 41st birthday. Upon his arrival, Khaled was greeted with a slew of champagne bottles and another magnificent cake.
