
News broke that NBA president of basketball operations Rod Thorn and VP do basketball operations Kiki Vandeweghe have had discussions about the possibility of adding another line to the NBA floor worth four points. This might sound farfetched, but keep in mind that the NBA is always looking to make changes and take risks.
They’ve tried a new basketball, altering the dunk contest and now have those horrendous sleeved jerseys. The 3-point line itself is still relatively new, considering the aged “Jordan Era” greats didn’t play in high school with it. With all the long distance specialists in the league, a four point shot might not be that bad of an idea. Here’s a list of guys that would make the move more sensible.
