Orange is the New Black actress Laverne Cox is having yet another amazing year.
In just two short years, the once under-the- radar New York City actor and performer of downtown drag club Lucky Cheng has rightfully found her calling as a famed actress, red carpet mainstay and a major player in activism for the LGBT community. Yahoo! Style recently spoke with the 31-year-old about transgender activism, her controversial story line on OITNB’s Season 3, and her new film Grandma. In addition to the interview, Yahoo’s style vertical produced a glamorous photo shoot for the online publication, capturing Cox in designer garbs like Alaïa, Dries Van Noten, Norma Kamali, Lanvin and more.
