Bridget Kelly is not afraid of the spotlight. “It actually makes me feel free,” says the Manhattan native. Kelly got her start in the limelight on tour with Jay Z belting out the chorus of “Empire State of Mind.” But the 28-year-old and graduate of New York City’s famed LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts is about to take center stage herself with the release of her Roc Nation debut LP, All or Nothing.
Kelly, a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, treated the crowd to a few singles — “I Won’t Cry” and “Almost Done” — off the new album at last night’s Hilton “Our Stage. Your Story” event as a group of tastemakers sipped on Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Sapporo. Check out photos of the rising star in the gallery that follows.
