Don’t: Overdo it.
We understand you may want to pregame in order to usurp the overprices beverages offered on the festival grounds, but make sure it’s in moderation. It would be a shame to miss the best acts late at night because you ended up passing out. -
Do: Dress accordingly.
Bright colors. Light material. Fun fashions. This is the time to really let your inner raver out, or for a more subdued summer festival look, refer to our VIBE fashion guide. -
Don’t: Feed the animals.
Even if the act fails to deliver, it’s still not cool to throw things at DJs. On the other hand, it is totally cool for the animals to feed you (we prefer cake, alcohol, etc.). -
Do: Plan ahead.
Remember, it’s a big festival with five stages playing simultaneously and it may be your one chance to see all your favorite acts in one place. Prioritize and schedule around your top DJs set times – you can also use the EZoo app for onsite assistance. -
Don’t: Make request.
These DJs know what they’re doing and have been planning their sets for years. If you really want to hear “Levels,” then just attend Avicii’s performance tonight at 9:30 p.m. -
Do: Make friends.
Festival folk are the friendly, so don’t be afraid to be chatty. You’re all in the experience together. -
Don’t: Be a douche.
The worst thing is to be that guy (or girl) who becomes super intoxicated and will try to find any excuse to start a fight. We’re all just trying to have a good time here man, don’t kill the vibe. -
Do: Photobomb.
There are going to be plenty of photographers at the festival, so be sure to always be smiling and who knows, you may get your pic next to a EDM legend. -
Don’t: Pack heavy
The last thing you need is to be bogged down by a heavy backpack. Just pack the essentials (cellphone, ID, cash) so that you’re light enough to sport your best dance moves and crowd surf. -
Do: Have fun!
It is the most important rule. This is an once-in-a-lifetime experience that can never be replicated, so make sure you enjoy every single moment.
