Ralph Lauren recently revealed their latest patriotic collection, designed specifically for Team U.S.A. in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The preppy, upscale brand debuted its new designs via a five-minute video on NBC’s Today Show. The ‘Made In America’ line boasts several knit sweaters, coats, mittens and accessories — each crafted within rural locations in the U.S.A. Ralph Lauren has outfitted Team U.S.A. since 2008, but sparked controversy prior to the 2012 Olympics in London after Congress alleged the company had outsourced its manufacturing overseas. The outcry spawned the ‘Team USA Made In America Act of 2012. ‘
This year, the brand produced 65,000 articles of clothing for the 650 American athletes participating. Ralph Lauren’s 2014 Team USA collection will be available starting November 15 at Ralph Lauren retailers and the Team USA Shop. Click through the gallery above to check out the Winter Olympic threads.
