After A Successful 2015, Keep Your Eye On These Rappers

Other than a couple of our favorite MCs rapidly falling off the top five list, 2015 was a good year for hip-hop. And as a few vets swerved to the wayside, others like Nas, Jadakiss, Puff Daddy and Kanye West continued to come through in the clutch with nasty verses and projects. But for the most part, it was the new wave of talent that held us down with the most impactful efforts.

Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Drake, Big Sean and J.Cole all had huge success musically in 2015. But you know, just as today’s hip-hop stars waited in the cut for their shine, there’s a pack of fresh, young bulls ducked off working to carve their name on the hip-hop hall of fame in the near future.
