Fashion Week in the Americas has come and gone, and now it’s time for Europe’s shows to wow us with sartorial wish list toppers. Rick Owens, known for bringing the flair to his shows, did not disappoint during his slot at Paris Fashion Week.
While showing off the threads for his Spring/Summer 2016 collection—which included a little satin, some textured, ruffled fabrics and a lot of nudes like black, brown and tan—a handful of models made some heads turn with what they were wearing. Or rather, who they were wearing.
Instead of light necklaces, upside-down models hung from the necks and backs of fellow models as they strutted down the runway. By way of harnesses, models were snuggly strapped in like infants are to their mothers.

We’re very curious to know what the symbolism of replacing normal jewels and drapes human beings was for this show. In the meantime, flip through for more bizarre positions snapped from the show.
