Things are getting a little more amplified for SoundCloud’s premiere music platform. SoundCloud is uplifting the experience with the launch of it’s SoundCloud Go subscription service, which will change the way artists upload music and the way in which their fans access the new tunes.
For a small monthly fee, the music platform offers access to over 125 million creators that are signed to independent and major labels. The premium upgrade also features offline listening features and interfaces, which will allow subscribers to choose when and where to listen to their favorite music.
The application, which is available on Android and iOS, aims to be the streaming platform that enhances and enables an overall enjoyable musical experience. “SoundCloud Go represents our vision of the future of music streaming: a platform for creators to collaborate on; for fans to discover the latest tracks, enjoy legendary music and connect with their favorite artists, and for our unique, creative community to have the opportunity to be paid for their work,” SoundCloud and CEO, Alexander Ljung said in a statement.
And to formally introduce SoundCloud Go, the platform held an exclusive, secret party for a select few. The event featured some key talent, including A$AP Ferg and Chance the Rapper, who took the Flash Factory stage in New York City last Thursday (March 31).
