After tapping fancy lady Iggy Azalea for night one of their late-night SXSW rendezvous, Samsung followed up with not one, not two but an entire squad of Harlem’s finest rappers late Thursday night (March 19).
Over two years after going M.I.A. from the tour life, A$AP Rocky, Ferg and the entire Mob crushed their 12:45am set from start to finish. Snapchatters, vodka enthusiasts and A$AP Stans got their lives with every hit Pretty Flacko pulled from the stash, including his early hits like “Peso,” “Wild For The Night” and more current rotation hitters like “Multiply.” He even debuted his new song “M’s” off his upcoming LP A.L.L.A.
VIPs like Miley Cyrus (who popped up on stage at Fader Fort earlier that day), Zoe Kravitz, and NFL star Jamaal Charles also took in the Mob’s performance.
Still, the night belonged to only one: A$AP Yams. Before the Uptown crew spazzed for “Long Live A$AP,” they shouted out their fallen brother, whose presence was felt the entire set.
