It’s been a busy week for EDM’s newborn, rapidly expanding genre. Trap reigned over sound systems last weekend at EDC Las Vegas, as head-runners in the genre like Carnage, Flosstradamus, UZ, and many others made their 808’s heard across the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Yeezus remixes surfaced, Candyland put out their take on Huey’s twerkin’ classic “Pop Lock & Drop it,” and Robin Thicke’s new hit “Blurred Lines” got a huge trap reboot.
