Able to now fully verbalize angst towards his former high school chemistry teacher, Jesse calls out Walt on his sneaky ways with the skill of a trained detective. Their moment in the desert was one that many fans have been waiting for—an opportunity for Jesse to confront his former friend-and-mentor.

As Jesse breaks down Walt’s pompous drug dealing demigod image and the doting father act in one felt swoop, Jesse’s pained monologue in the middle of nowhere finds him shook to his core, yet still powerful enough to make his would-be handlers mum when he accuses Walt of killing Mike.
