Isael Lopez is a 16-year-old kid who needs a kidney transplant. He’s already had 20 surgeries in his lifetime. This week his dream of meeting Tyga came true when T-Raww stopped by the Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to hang with Isael and pass out gifts to some 60 children with rare cancer and blood diseases. Lopez thinks the world of Tyga because he is a “good singer and also inspired me to write and compose music, but most of all because he is a good person to his fans.”
Tyga went from room to room at Children’s, passing out Flips Audio Headphone X speakers, Music Bullet Speakers, Flipeez Action Hats, and clothing from his Last Kings clothing line in hopes that music will bring some cheer into each room. Kids at Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases are battling some of the toughest and rarest forms of pediatric cancer.
“It’s important to support nonprofit organizations like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—they take incredible care of our community, so I am honored to help make a difference for these children who are from the city I grew up in and to help encourage them and to bring a smile to their faces,” said Tyga about his trip to the hospital.
The “Snapbacks Back” rapper wants to encourage people to check if they are a kidney donor for Isael, who needs a match to survive.
