Reebok added another hip-hop superstar to their roster after inking Kendrick Lamar to a deal in late 2014. Future can now ad sneaker designer to his resume after taking to social media to announce the new partnership between Reebok and himself.
Hendrix posted a series of pictures on his Instagram sporting the Reebok “Overbranded” Instapump Fury, which is set to launch in the fall of 2016. The shoes appear to be just the start of a long catalog of co-branded products.
“Future exudes the type of fearlessness and authenticity that Reebok Classic stands for,” said Todd Krinsky, Global Vice President of Reebok Classic and Entertainment. “This partnership not only continues our brand’s longstanding legacy of working with the world’s best hip hop artists, but also solidifies Reebok Classic’s commitment to never back down from pushing boundaries. I’ve had a preview of what’s to come from Future and Reebok and I can’t wait for everyone to see!”
Future begins his highly anticipated “Summer Sixteen” tour on July 20th, so expect to see him in some exclusives along the journey. The Atlanta rapper continues to innovate both in and outside of the music industry.
Fans will have to stay tuned to see what Future and the sportswear brand will have in store for the future.
