This past February fashion brands flocked to Las Vegas for the bi-annual Magic Market Week. Magic brings together several fashion trade shows — Project, Project Mvmnt, Pool Trade Show, ENKVegas, WWD Magic, The Tents at Project, etc. — under the Magic umbrella. Designer, contemporary, streetwear, accessories, for men, for women, etc. — you name it, it’s all there at the booths in the Mandalay Bay and Las Vegas Convention Centers.
This year, hip-hop had a huge showing at Project Mvmnt, the show dedicated to men’s streetwear. From Big Sean’s new Finally Famous line and Pusha T’s Play Cloths to Tyga’s Last Kings, rappers repped their fashion labels and tried to carve a niche in a market already dominated by streetwear favorites like Diamond Supply, Crooks & Castles and Civil Clothing. VIBE was there to see it all unfold, and along the way stumbled upon some other cool accessories like SlingShox, new headphone lines and more. Watch above.
