You can’t lose when you’re the heiress of an iconic cosmetics company, Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour vows to be in your corner and NBC Universal head Jeff Zucker is on call. Soon, Aerin Lauder, senior vice president and creative director of Estée Lauder, will soon find out just how thorough her support system is. Word has spread that the granddaughter of the founder will soon announce her plans to launch a lifetsyle brand and become “the next Tory Burch.” The vintage imprint will include accessories, houseware, china and jewelry, with pieces based from her grandmother’s private stash.
Yes, she’s branching out from a fully furnished, familial (and quite comfortable) nest, but I believe she’ll be fine.
According to the New York Post, she will continue to have a senior creative role with the brand and will continue as a member of the board of directors of the company.
