Cult of Individuality is a trusted celebrity and streetwear brand for the fashion-forward jean junkie with touches of vintage, embellishments, rebellion, and more. The company celebrated 10 years of “innovation and evolution” on Wednesday (July 31), showcasing a 30-piece collection that spoke to the heart and soul of the brand.
The collection previewed new and old pieces of denim jeans with exaggerated cuts and different washes. An outwear line contained premium fabrics and color hues. Interchangeable shirts, flannels, and activewear pieces were debuted with zippers and detailing.
Established in 2009, Ron Poisson, designer of Cult of Individuality, has earned his reputation as the “cult leader of denim,” the “Jeansmith To The One,” and the “Wash Master.” Crafting and elevating a unique approach to denim fits and washes have created a legacy that touched men, women, and kids only selling in high-end retail stores. He rose to a designer denim status with premium and anti-threads infused with old methods with new ideologies.
DJ NASTY sparked the celebration with a heavy set that ended with DJ Lord. Performances by rising artists included Brytiago, Young Paris, UFO Fev, and a special performance by Cult’s Creative Director Ron Poisson who was joined with his band FOOLS FOR KINGS.
