To stay in shape is one of the top New Year’s resolutions every year, but why throw out fashion with the calorie-saturated sweets? Below are some great tips to stay looking fabulous while maintaining total fitness. Picking the right color scheme of hot tops, fitting bottoms and pairs of running kicks will have you working toward a great body in style! Here’s one lady’s guide to mixing style and fitness:
Mix in a few sleek number in bright colors in between wearing your ratty college t-shirts. Of course don’t forget super sturdy sports bras to handle your girls.
A few great bottoms are essential. I have a pair of long Adidas black pants, and three pairs of Nike capris (my go-to pair are my Dri Tech fit running capris) in my workout arsenal. Invest in a couple of pairs and you won’t have to buy them every year. I have capris that are at least 5-10 years old!
TheRunnersGuide.com recommends you replace your shoes every six months. I personally replace my shoes every 8 months to a year. Though I used to spend hundreds on fancy shox and air, I now spend less than $100 on a simple pair that will cushion my feet and go the distance. Pick a color scheme that works for you, and rock ‘em!
