In August, Bud Light announced that they would be rolling out 28 NFL team-specific designs on limited edition cans. Now, the league’s official beer is bringing the party to football fanatics in Manhattan with the help of Minibar, an alcohol delivery service that is launching a pilot program in response to the popular demand (3,000 calls and e-mails to be exact, according to a press release) from Bud Light fans across America.
“Since the introduction of our 28 different NFL Bud Light cans, football fans have been eagerly asking how they can celebrate with their team’s can when they don’t live in that team’s market,” said Alexander Lambrecht, Vice President of Bud Light in a statement.
“We know fans move and travel. Geography doesn’t affect their team spirit, and we don’t want it to affect their ability to toast their favorite team with a cold Bud Light. Fans asked us to find a way, so we are delivering. The Minibar partnership in Manhattan is a pilot program. It’s an example of how Bud Light is truly the beer of the fan, always working to bring people the convenient customization they’re looking for – whether it’s with the NFL, music or beyond.”
