
It’s being reported that Beyoncé will perform at Sunday’s Grammy Awards ceremony (Feb. 12), marking her first appearance and performance since announcing she is expecting twins with husband Jay Z.
While it’s always uncertain to fans and critics alike what Queen Bey will do, it’s especially interesting to imagine what stops she will pull out now that she is pregnant. Choreographer JaQuel Knight teased on Twitter a few months ago that the performance will be “a movie.”

Duet With Prince For "Purple Rain" Medley (2004)
For the 20th anniversary of the late- Prince’s Purple Rain album, he performed a medley of the album’s hits to open the show, and Bey came along for the ride. That same night, she made history as the woman with the most Grammy wins in one night (she broke her own record in 2010 and now shares it with Adele).

For her second performance of a very eventful night, Beyonce made her solo set all about her vocals with a rendition of “Dangerously In Love 2.” The performance, which takes place in a frame, becomes nearly picture perfect thanks to a dove flying into Bey’s palm.

Bey performed an understated version her song from the film Dreamgirls at the ceremony in 2007. During that ceremony, her second studio album B’Day won the gramaphone for “Best Contemporary R&B Album.”

Beyonce joined Ms. Tina Turner, a legendary artist whom she said possesses “the glamour, the soul, the passion, the strength, the talent” of a super star, for a duet of “Proud Mary” in 2008.

Beyonce brought out a very militant style in her performance of “If I Were A Boy,” then showed that she can rock out with a cover of Alanis Morrisette’s “You Oughta Know,” head-banging included.
