The end of Black History Month is three days away, so it’s only right that it closes on a high, trap-a-holic note. After a slew of controversial covers of Beyonce’s “Formation” and Rihanna’s “Work” hit the Internet, the renditions were less than spectacular for some viewers.
In response, Twitter’s latest trending topic #TrapCover was born, sending users into a fit of laughter with each remix of top Pop hits. A few melodies that received the turn-up treatment included Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time,” and Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe.”
